Academic Background
A proud Ashesi University alumnus, having joined the institution in September 2022 under a prestigious Mastercard Foundation Scholarship. Founded by Dr. Patrick G. Awuah, Ashesi University is a private, non-profit liberal arts university in Ghana, renowned for educating ethical and entrepreneurial leaders with strong academic and leadership foundations. At Ashesi, I studied Mechanical Engineering (BSc.) in addition to minor classes in entrepreneurship and leadership. For my four years of my undergraduate studies at Ashesi, I have lived the values of scholarship, citizenship and leadership, and I have helped other students grow with purpose.
Before joining Ashesi University, I went to USAP Community school in Zimbabwe (High School). Founded by Rebecca Zeigler Mano (director of Education Matters Africa in Zimbabwe) and James Linville (first head of school), USAP Community School is a two-year residential A‑Level program (grade 11 & 12) designed to bridge the literacy, research, critical thinking, and computer skills gap identified in high-achieving Zimbabwean students. During my two years at USAP, I have lived the values of integrity, equality, service and curiosity, which allowed to excel academically. I am proud to be a USAP Alumnus from class of 2021.
